Matt V., Radiologic Technologist (RT)

If you need an x-ray, arthrogram, or other guided injection at Orthopedic Specialists, chances are good you will meet Matt V. Although he’s always on the move, working with up to 50 patients a day, he always has a kind word and a smile on his face.

“People come to us in pain, so it’s important to have a positive attitude and put them at ease,” he says.

A New Jersey native, Matt moved to Florida in 2011 and received his RT training in South Florida. He moved to the Tampa Bay area in 2016 and joined Orthopedic Specialists in 2021. He says the best part of working here is the reward of helping patients and being part of a close-knit team.

“The people at Orthopedic Specialists are the best. The scribes, x-ray technologists, schedulers, doctors – everyone gets along great,” he says. “It’s like a family and that makes the job more enjoyable to come to every day.”

In his free time, Matt loves nothing more than spending time with his own family: his fiancée and two children. With his patient-focused attitude and technological expertise, Matt is just one of the team members who have helped Orthopedic Specialists earn more than 1,000 5-star reviews on Google alone.
