Andrew Maser, DO, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon on the team of providers at Orthopedic Specialists in Palm Harbor, Florida. He graduated from Michigan State University in East Lansing with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and stayed at the university to earn his medical degree from the school’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.
After graduating, Dr. Maser completed a rotating internship at Mount Clemens General Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan, then went on to a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at the Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopedics in Phoenix, Arizona. After his fellowship, he returned to Mount Clemens General Hospital where he completed a residency in orthopedic surgery, with additional rotations at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and Tampa General Hospital and Shriners Healthcare for Children, both in Florida. He finished his training with an orthopedic spine fellowship at the Florida Spine Institute in Clearwater, Florida.
Dr. Maser has privileges at AdventHealth North Pinellas Hospital in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He’s also an active member of numerous professional societies, like the North American Spine Society, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, and the Pinellas County Osteopathic Society.
