Dr. Brandon Taylor Brandon Taylor, MD

Dr. Taylor was born in New England but raised in the panhandle of Florida. Before graduating high school as valedictorian, he was accepted to the University of South Alabama’s Early Acceptance Program for medical school. After graduating cum laude, he completed medical school and an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of South Alabama.

After residency, Dr. Taylor completed a one year fellowship in complex foot and ankle surgery at Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. During fellowship, he was trained in treating common lower extremity sports injuries, lower extremity deformity correction and ligament reconstruction, arthroscopic surgery, cartilage regenerative procedures, and fracture care. He has also given several talks and published book chapters and research articles concerning the care and treatment of lower extremity problems.

Dr. Taylor provides care for general orthopedic problems such as fracture care and treatment of arthritis. This care includes both surgical as well as non-operative treatment, as he believes both can and should be utilized in returning patients back to normal activities.

Dr. Taylor is glad to have returned to Florida and excited to continue Orthopedic Specialists' mission to deliver outstanding orthopedic care in the area. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, participating in outdoor recreation and water sports, and playing guitar.
